Vegas Stakes In Colorado?

I'm willing to take that gamble.

Many states have struggled with the conundrum of desiring more tax revenue from gaming while simultaneously erecting seemingly ridiculous rules meant to make the whole affair appear somewhat unwholesome.

If Colorado can eliminate a decades-old blue law outlawing the sale of liquor on Sundays, then a modest expansion of the current gaming allowances are certainly not out of the question.

In any case, allowing the citizens of Colorado to determine (as they have in the past) the exact parameters of gaming in the state is the most responsible method for dealing with any limits, or their elimination.

Opposition, however, should be limited to considerations of the impact of the changes on roads or the mountain communities themselves, and not a devolution into demagoguing those who wish to participate in a form of entertainment as sordid or irresponsible.

Customer Relationship Management Survey

This post will remain at the top through Sunday. Please scroll for new entries.

Some of you may have noticed that this blog has been kind of quiet this past week. This is what I've been up to:
Loyalty Programs at Black Hawk Casinos

This survey is part of Customer Relationship Management project conducted by a group of graduate MBA students of University of Colorado at Denver and Health Science Center. The goal of this study is to determine how Customer Relationship Programs of particular Colorado casinos influences the level of loyalty of the customers.

For the results to be precise and representative of the actual distribution of customers of the casinos at Black Hawk, your response is important. Please take a few minutes and fill out this brief questionnaire. Due to the nature of the subject, only those 21 or older are being invited to participate in this survey. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and entirely voluntary. Surveys are anonymous and you can be assured of complete confidentiality. Your responses will be used only for aggregate analysis and will not be identified as an individual response. Please forward the link to anyone to whom you feel comfortable doing so. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via tabascoii@gmail.com, chick_ac116@yahoo.com, moopatt@yahoo.com. Your may also contact our professor, Lawrence F. Cunningham, if you have any additional questions or concerns--via email at Lawrence.Cunningham@cudenver.edu or by telephone at 303-556-5822.
I don't ask for much from my readers (other than patience!), but here is your opportunity to "give back" to this blog.

We need your assistance in this project, and appreciate your time. Please forward this blog entry or the survey link to friends and family to whom you feel comfortable doing so. Remember the responses are anonymous, the survey is voluntary, and you must be 21 or older to participate.

The more responses we receive, the better our analysis will be.

Thanks,
El Presidente
