Denver Holds Saddam Trial Evidence

In a secret, undisclosed location:

DENVER -- A U.S. Embassy representative in Iraq said "millions" of documents related to the trial for Saddam Hussein and several other defendants are currently being held at an undisclosed location in Denver.

Regime crimes liaison Kevin Dooley told Denver's KOA radio that the documents consist of evidence to be used against Saddam and others when they face trial for the deaths of some 200,000 Kurds.

Dooley told KOA he was unclear as to why those documents are being kept in Denver.

The evidence was being referred to in Baghdad as "The Colorado Documents." Their specific location is considered classified, and is not being released.
